Why writing on your photos with a calligraphy marker makes sense

By Heidi at 09/07/07 10:21

scrapbook Why writing on your photos with a calligraphy marker makes sense
I recently found a wonderful new use for my calligraphy pens. I do a lot of scrapbooking and I had previously used either my fountain pen or a calligraphy marker to write on the pages.

I tried writing notes directly on the photos!! I took a picture of my son and daughter playing in the park which had a nice area at the bottom which was light sand colored. That area made for a really nice writing contrast with one of the calligraphy markers. It made such a nice entry in my scrapbook and is one of my favorite pages.

I also decided to use my markers to date and make notes on many of my photos. As I get older I forget when I took a particular photo and sometimes just want to add a nice caption.
