Cluttered Office? Clean It!Some people have the luxury of having their own office. If they work in a big company, or even a small company, they would have to keep their offices nice and clean.~~ That way it always looks presentable if anyone were to come in for any reason. Other people work in small home based offices where they may not have to keep them as tidy. Either it is just an office where calls are made or some office are just somewhere to get your work done. Not really an office. For me, I work in one of those small offices kind of tucked away. No one ever sees it. But I do work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. So it's my office. When you don't really have to keep it cleaned you sometimes let it get out of hand and unorganized. That was always me. I would just leave can lay around, papers thrown everywhere, just a complete mess. I think that is the reason work sometimes drags out. Sometimes when I got home I feel like I had this horrible day and I couldn't wait to get out of there. But it's really not that bad. So I decided to give my office a face lift. I cleaned and organized my entire office. I took all the old post it notes off the walls and hung up some nice pictures of my favorite sports team. I put my desk by the window. I organized all my books and files. Now everything at work seems so better. Sometime I actually feel like I am at home. That's how comfortable my office is now! |
