At my last job, i found a way to maximize my total profit. What is the secret you ask? Well it's a very common item that works wonders. This little item is called duct tape...One day just pondering at my desk, I thought of something to help raise my own profit. I could make duct tape statues using the wonderous tape. So on my break I started for the first time. Carefully putting together every piece, a shape began to take form.
After about fifteen minutes, I had made a small duct tape cat. Some of my coworkers congratulated me on my work, and boy was I proud. But mean Mr. Philips (my boss) completely ruined my parade by saying it was a worthless piece of crap. That only motivated me to do better!
Another hour had passed and a new creation was right in front of me. I had created a duct tape bust of Mr. Philips.
It had the angriest expression ever on its face. Everyone laughed until the real Mr. Philips came to see what the commotion was. He took one look at the bust, then one look at me.
"You're Fired," he told me in a very serious tone. I had lost my job from making a simple creation! All was not lost, because a month later, my duct tape statues were the largest home fashion trend in the state!
So really, my duct tape idea really did maximize my personal profit!
