Chair office was setup to be THE office chairs resource online for people looking to purchase chairs~~ What inspired you to launch your own website? My background is internet marketing and web design and I saw a gap in the market When did you launch your first website, and what was it? Wow.. Ummm.. I think my first website was my own personal one many moons ago, me just playing with HTML and learning dreamweaver How did you decide on a name for your website? Did some keyword research and just looked for available domains based on the results What makes it different from other, similar offerings? The site (At the moment) is a dedicated office chairs website, most other sites sell everything .. Desks, Screens etc... What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?) Just to keep building the business to be honest How does your investment of time and money balance against your success? It was more time than money, as I built the site and already had a server - I would say we are doing well now ;) If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site? Thats a hard one.. Theres always new things I would want to do, and will do including some secret stuff that I don't want the competition knowing about .. lol If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand? Yes we are geared to deal with any demand (In fact we are starting to get quite big now) What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with? None really, I tried to plan everything out before I started What has been your biggest challenge? Trying to get all our stock on the website, I'm still only about 70% of the way there What method has been most successful for promoting your website? Now if I told you that, I would have to .... How has running your website differed from your expectations? Demand! I didn't think we'd be selling as many chairs this quickly to be honest, but I'm not complaining How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity? The site has been going since Nov 07..
