What inspired you to launch your own website?

There is a need for discounted office supplies. Because almost every office supply store buys products from same wholesaler.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

My first web site www.ctmechanical.com. Two years ago.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I didnt have much choices to choose a lot of name. But it should be catchy and belive it is.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Well design and offers competitive price for every product.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Our sales has been increasing dramatically and it covered already our initial investment.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

To be honest, I would rather unlimited budget for advertisement. If I had unlimited budget for developement, I would use it for ads. I think we have good system right now.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Actually we started with shared hosting. Right now we have dedicated server. If we need more, we would purchase another one.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Of course it was hakers and fraud orders.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Switching our web site shared to dedicated server.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Using price comparison web sites and search engine ads. Of course SEO as well.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It has been working great and it satisfies our expectations so far.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have been running web site almost one year and seems that I will be working on it for a while.
