If you want to keep your sanity and your home office intact, here are some great tips for keeping your office neat, clean and uncluttered. Just simply following some of these guidelines will eliminate some of the drawbacks of working from home: Don't bring non-work related materials into your office Keep the furnishings to a bare minimum to cut down on wasted space and prevent you from having too many hiding places for those important documents Either lock the door to your office or set some very strict rules in the house as to who has permission to enter when you are not there - and DEFINITELY ENFORCE THEM! Shred or dispose of all trash nightly to maintain the cleanliness of your office Clean off your desk EVERY DAY when you are finished Keep file trays on or near your desk and prioritize the things that need your attention These are just SOME of the good information you will find here on this website.
