Your Hindrance to a Wonderful Career

By Website Introductions at 03/31/08 11:55

undermine career Your Hindrance to a Wonderful Career
Like what was said in a previous post, your desk reflects your personality. And your bosses see this. Sure, you may be productive, but this will be not apparent until physical order is in order (pun intended).

Your bosses probably won't promote you even if you pass papers on time when they find out that you have a trash dump for a desk. So get up and clean that desk!

messy desk Productivity
The experts themselves have said it. Your messy office reflects who you are and how well you may be as an executive. If you will really think about it, how will you be able to manage a businesses if you cannot even manage your own desk? It prevents your true potential from showing, blocking whatever productivity you may have. It's a career blocker.

How Do You Pump Up Your Worker's Productivity?

By Website Introductions at 03/25/08 14:56
hawthorne effect How Do You Pump Up Your Worker's Productivity?
Productivity is not without cause. What cause is it? The answer is not far off. It's motivation that drives any worker to be as productive as he can be. Without proper motivation, potentials will just be potentials, failing to materialize into productive output.

An employer, most naturally, desires that his workers be as productive as they can. But what sort of motivation should the employer feed his workers? Higher wages? Non-monetary benefits like health insurance and the such? Various experiments have been done regarding the topic, and one of them is the Hawthorn Experiment.
