What inspired you to launch your own website?

Having an online presence increases leads for online businesses.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched my first website in 2004 as amandacrafted.com

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We chose Virtual Office Leader as it coincides with what we do - virtual assistance!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We offer online administrative support as a couple - a team. Many virtual assistants do not offer backup resources or partner efforts.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Eventually we want to teach online classes for Microsoft Office so other Virtual Assistants can become certified as we are in the applications thus improving the services that all online business owners receive.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far, it couldn't be a better balance if we tried!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would add more database features and higher end applications

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

CERTAINLY!!! We are always ready for unexpected growth and a team of great subcontractors who would love to see it happen!

None so far.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Finding the best host providers.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Manual article submission and link exchange

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It hasn't.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

2 years. I plan to keep it up indefinitely.

We love helping other business professionals become more organized! It is very rewarding.
