I offer virtual support to small businesses and individuals. Various duties include marketing, customer support, research, calender and schedule maintenance and much more.
What is a Virtual Assistant?
A virtual assistant is basically an assistant that works from their home or other virtual location. Work is completed utilizing the internet, e-mail, phone, fax and US Mail. We work out of our own home offices, eliminating the client's need to supply office space, which in turn saves your company time and money. This is a GREAT way to reduce overhead costs and increase company profits.
How does the client directly benefit?
Clients only pay for the services requested and only when they need them. VA's are contractors and not employees, which eliminates the need to provide insurance, vacation/sick/holiday time, office space or equipment, benefits or training.
Do you only work within certain industries?
No, I work with several different industries. I have supported speakers, sales teams, real estate professionals as well as Mary Kay consultants. Although each industry is unique much of the job functions are similar.
What experience do you have that qualifies you to work in this industry?
I have more than 15 years experience as an administrative assistant performing such tasks as payroll, accounting, sales support, marketing and more. My computer skills are top notch and I am always learning something new to stay ahead of the industry. I am very organized, dependable and honest.
In addition to my administrative skills I also design websites and marketing materials for small businesses.
How do you charge for services? Is a contract required?
Depending on the project and needs of the client, services are charged either on an hourly basis, or per project basis. Some clients find it more cost effective to secure services on a monthly retainer basis. Rates are dependant upon the type of service needed.
